Lofty vs. Out Nurture: AI Sales Agent, Pricing and Using Both

What Lofty (formerly Chime) is, what its AI Sales Agent does and costs as of October 2026, how it compares with Out Nurture, and how to connect the two with Zapier.

Out Nurture Team7 min read

Lofty is an all-in-one real estate platform: CRM, IDX websites, paid lead generation, a dialer and automated follow-up plans, plus an AI Sales Agent add-on that texts, emails and chats with leads on its own. Out Nurture does one piece of that: an AI agent that holds two-way text conversations with leads and hands ready ones to a person. It is not a CRM. If your team already runs on Lofty, its Sales Agent covers much of the same ground inside the CRM; Out Nurture is for teams outside Lofty, outside real estate, or with lead sources Lofty doesn't hold. Lofty facts below come from its own site, help center and developer docs, checked October 12, 2026.

What Lofty sells

Lofty's plans are named Agent, Team, Broker and Enterprise. Its pricing page lists an AI-powered CRM with unlimited contacts, a customizable IDX website, Smart Plans marketing automation, mass and auto texting, a basic dialer, advanced lead routing, reporting and a mobile app. Add-ons include lead generation, a power dialer, extra text packages and three AI agents: Sales, Social and Homeowner (Lofty pricing). Lofty sells to agents, teams and brokerages, and offers lenders a free companion CRM for co-marketing with agents. Some Zapier templates still call it Chime, its former name (Zapier: Lofty).

What Lofty costs

Platform prices are not published: every plan on the pricing page says "Request Pricing" (Lofty pricing). Buyer and seller lead generation also needs a quote and carries a 20% ad management fee. The AI Sales Agent is priced in its help article: $60 a month covers 200 leads, and each extra 100 leads costs $30 a month. The quota does not reset monthly. A lead counts from its first message until you mute it or it goes 6 months without replying (Lofty: Getting Started with AI Sales Agent).

That quota rule matters for volume. A team adding 150 new leads a month, none of whom reply or get muted, would hold up to 900 leads in the quota by month six: 200 plus 700 extra, or $270 a month. Muting finished leads keeps it lower.

Lofty's AI Sales Agent: does it work leads on its own?

Yes. The Sales Agent is two-way and runs without an agent approving each message. Per Lofty's help center (setup guide):

  • Channels: website chat, text, email, and Facebook Messenger as an optional integration. Lofty's sales page also advertises a new AI outbound call (Lofty Sales Agent page).
  • Who it works: leads matching your enrollment filters (source, lead type, pipeline stage, agent, office, lead pond). It skips hidden leads unless the agent owns a personal Sales Agent, plus wrong, DNC and landline numbers, and any lead that had no phone number when first added.
  • Goal: qualify the lead, fill in its profile and hand warm leads to the assigned agent. Its FAQ says it can book appointments on your calendar (Sales Agent FAQ).
  • Texting number: it texts from its own virtual number. Those texts don't count against your text package limit, but the number must be linked to a 10DLC campaign, so registration fees apply on top of the quota price.

Its compliance rules are built in: the first text includes "Reply STOP to opt out", it sends at most one message per channel per day unless the lead is replying, and proactive messages go out only from 8 AM to 9 PM in the lead's local time. AI identity disclosure is on by default (Lofty: Sales Agent compliance).

Lofty's other AI is assistive. Cowork drafts emails, texts and call scripts, ranks leads and summarizes dialer calls (Lofty Cowork). Smart Plans are multi-step sequences across email, text, call tasks, postcards and ringless voicemail; AI can build one from a plain-language description, and plans pause when a lead replies (Lofty Smart Plans).

Routing, texting and registration in Lofty

Lead routing rules can use geography, lead source, agent performance or round robin (Lofty for teams). Agents text from a personal virtual number that comes with a call/text package.

Every number that texts US phones must be linked to an A2P 10DLC campaign registered through Lofty. A low-volume Standard Brand costs $19 once plus $1.50 a month; approval usually takes 3 to 5 business days but can take 4 to 5 weeks. Lofty also says registrations are vendor-specific and can't be transferred, and fees are not refunded (Lofty: A2P 10DLC plans). More on how registration works in our A2P 10DLC guide.

Getting data in and out of Lofty

  • Integrations: over 200, including Zillow, Realtor.com, dotloop and DocuSign, plus an open API and Zapier (Lofty integration center).
  • API: REST, with OAuth 2.0 for vendors or a personal API key from Settings, Integrations, API (Lofty API keys).
  • Webhooks: 12 event types, including lead created or updated, text, and pipeline change. A lead event carries only the lead ID and a timestamp, so you fetch the details by API. Text webhooks skip automated messages such as Smart Plans (Lofty webhooks).
  • Zapier app: triggers include New Lead (fires when a lead is assigned to you; not for lender accounts), Segment Changed, Lead Pipeline Changed and Smart Plan Action. Actions include Create Lead, Update Lead (with Tag, Note and Text Opt In fields) and Find Record (Zapier: Lofty).

What Lofty does that Out Nurture doesn't

  • Keeps the full client record, pipeline and transactions, with lead routing and team reporting.
  • Generates leads: IDX websites, managed ads and seller campaigns.
  • Works more channels: email, website chat and Messenger, plus a dialer for agents.
  • Books appointments on the agent's calendar from the AI conversation.

When Out Nurture is the better fit

Out Nurture fits where Lofty's Sales Agent can't reach: leads that live outside Lofty, or businesses outside real estate such as loan officers and insurance agents. It takes leads from ads, forms, Meta and Google lead ads or any CRM by webhook, or by CSV, and uses every detail sent with the lead. You set the win, such as a booked call, and who gets ready leads. You can read every thread and step in. STOP is honored across every campaign at once. Pricing is per text rather than per lead in a quota.

If you're on Lofty and want every conversation logged in the CRM, adding the Sales Agent is simpler than wiring in a second tool.

Connecting the two (no native integration)

Out Nurture has no built-in Lofty connection. A Zapier setup built only from documented parts:

  1. Lofty to Out Nurture: use Lofty's New Lead trigger, then a Zapier webhook step that posts name, phone, source and notes to Out Nurture's lead webhook. New Lead fires only for leads assigned to the connected user, so for a whole team either build one Zap per agent or subscribe to Lofty's lead webhook with ownership-based delivery, which covers every lead in the subscriber's team or office scope, and fetch each lead by API.
  2. Avoid double texting: leave those leads out of Lofty's Sales Agent enrollment, or mute it per lead, and keep them off Smart Plans that text.
  3. Handoffs back: Out Nurture sends a webhook event on each handoff carrying the last 100 messages with direction and text. Catch it in Zapier, look up the lead with Find Record, then use Update Lead to add a tag like "AI handoff", move it to a segment your agents watch, and paste the thread into Note.
  4. Opt-outs back: map Out Nurture's opt-out event to Update Lead with an opt-out tag, so agents don't text that person from Lofty.

These texts leave from Out Nurture's number, so they won't appear in Lofty's timeline unless you log them; Lofty's API has an endpoint for logging outside calls and texts (Lofty communication API). Out Nurture's number needs its own registration; Out Nurture files the brand and messaging registration from inside the app and passes carrier fees through at cost.

Out Nurture's Standard plan is $25 a month ($240 a year) with $5 of usage included, then about $0.025 per text, or $0.005 per text plus Twilio's charges on your own Twilio account. As an assumed example, 150 new leads a month at 8 texts each is 1,200 texts: about $30 of usage, so about $50 a month in total. Try your own numbers in the cost calculator.
